Fans of vintage houses and those who are renovating their own homes will delight in this year's annual Mother's Day House Walk. With a focus on "old houses made new," the walk features six private homes that were built between 1885 and 1900. All are within a four-block area, have undergone significant renovations over the decades, and have kept their vintage look and feel. One of the area's longest running and most popular house walks, the Evanston Historical Society's annual event draws more than 1000 visitors from around the Midwest.
